The annual charity motorcycle poker run held in Northumberland County in memory of Coburg Police Constable Chris Garrett.

Chris was slain in the line of duty, bravely protecting the lives of citizens of Coburg he was sworn to protect.

This year’s 8th annual poker run will be held on SATURDAY SEPT. 10, 2011, at the NEW Northumberland EMS HQ, William St, south of Elgin. (600 William St, Cobourg, ON, K9A 5J6.) Registration is between 8:30 and 10:30 am, at a cost of $20.00 per bike. This includes the chance to win a great prize in the poker run, as well as a free BBQ lunch.

This year’s proceeds will benefit The Northumberland United Way.
